Transparent sound and plenty of power – the active speakers from QSC, a manufacturer specializing in professional audio systems (PA), are very powerful at 1000 watts and are ideal for double bass amplification. The K series amplifiers have a built-in two-channel mixer. One channel is equipped with a switchable mic/line input (XLR+jack combo), the second channel with a line input (XLR+jack combo) and a stereo RCA input. Each channel has a parallel out (XLR plug), the total sum is also available on an XLR plug for looping through.
Since active speakers have low-impedance inputs and no tone controls, an additional preamplifier is required to adequately amplify a (piezo) pickup signal.
